Sunset at Grand Beach 11x14” $50

Summer holidays takes us, often, to Grand Beach. Camping at the East beach is an experience like no other…cycling on the trails, running up the sand dunes, the seagulls swirling above, finding frogs and keeping them for just a while until they escape with a hop. Before we realize, the sun starts to drop! We race to the beach to catch the beauty and when we get over the rolling dunes …it’s breathtaking, the timing is perfect! Off come the shoes! It’s easier to walk and the cool sand feels therapeutic. I search for a few ‘good shots’ to paint later in the year, while my 5 kids horse around. It’s a beautiful evening so we stay until the sun melts into the water line and the air cools.
